SLA awards tenders for Dempsey Road properties to Power Moves and Florte Design
Power Moves won the tender for 13 Dempsey Roadway (# 01-05 and # 01-07) and 13A Dempsey Road. The properties, which are authorized for wellness and fitness utilization, occupy an acreage of 9,657 sq ft and have a combined approximated gross floor area (GFA) of 8,783 sq ft.
SLA granted a separate tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-01, # 01-02 and # 01-06) to Florte Design. The firm operates homemade floral studio The Florté. It beat seven other tender proposals for the property, which is approved for creative way of living uses.
Florte Design aims to open up a market place for retail flower and life-style goods on the site with an all-day coffee shop offering floral-infused beverages. The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have awarded two separate tenders for properties throughout Dempsey Roadway. The two tenders come along with a first five-year lease, with the possibility to extend for a second term of 4 years.
Furthermore, Florte Design intends to collaborate with local area artists, performers and neighboring businesses to deliver cross-promotional events and foster town interaction.

The tenders for both locations closed on May 29 and were evaluated based on cost and premium elements.
Florte Design’s proposal of $17,904 pm presented the third highest rate quote obtained for the property. Nevertheless, it had the highest bundled score based on both price (which brought a 40% weightage) and quality (60% weightage).
