Accor partners Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels to open three new Singapore properties
Amongst the two new properties lies at Hoe Chiang Road. It will house the 808-key Mövenpick Singapore, the largest Mövenpick hotel in the Asia Pacific area. It will also house Mövenpick Living Singapore, a 37-key holiday accommodation focus on at tourists finding extended visits.
“This confirming not just shows the sturdy need from operators and financiers for brand names throughout Accor but also enhances our dedication to top the area’s development and redefining the prospective of hospitality in Asia,” claims Garth Simmons, COO of Accor’s premium, midscale and economic condition division in Asia.
The other estate, found at Waterloo Street, are going to be the place of a brand-new hotel following the Handwritten Collection Brand Name. The 502-key building is the second in Singapore following the Handwritten Collection brand name, following the kick off of Resort Faber Park Singapore– Handwritten Collection in late 2023.
Worldwide accommodation player Accor has already inked an agreement with Fragrance Team and Global Premium Hotels to open up 2 new-build real estates that will house three hotels. All three resorts are going to be available by 2027.
The signings for the 3 new resorts are the most recent in Accor’s long-standing relationship with Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels, the two of which are acquired by Koh Wee Meng, chairperson of Fragrance Team.
The alliance at the moment has a collection of 17 resorts in Singapore, 5 in Australia and 3 in the UK. The hotels are under brands such as MGallery, Mövenpick, Novotel, Mercure, Handwritten Collection, ibis Styles and ibis Budget.
“These brand-new buildings are going to enable us to carry on curating enhancing experiences for our guests and even more branch out our reception offerings in Singapore,” incorporates Fragrance Group’s Koh.
