CBRE acquires Singapore-based sustainability advisory firm Paia Consulting
In August 2023, Keppel hired Bennett Wong, previous major specialist at Paia Consulting, to become its group sustainability top supervisor. Wong departed in July to join professional services firm RSM.
David Fogarty, who has led CBRE’s ESG Consulting and Sustainability Services group in Asia since 2022, will guide the expanded unit at Paia from CBRE.
Following the purchase, the business is going to be renamed Paia from CBRE, and the workers will definitely be incorporated with CBRE’s existing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) consulting and sustainability programs team. Johnson will most likely be the top professional within the combined entity, while Forcellati will be the brand-new administrator of client sustainability method and options.
Carrie Johnson started Paia Consulting and is its founding director. She has over twenty years of expertise in sustainability technique, reporting, and environmental matters. Corrado Forcellati, Paia Consulting’s managing director ever since 2021, assists companies in Singapore and Southeast Asia incorporate sustainability into their company operations.
On August 1, CBRE announced that it has recently acquired Paia Consulting, a Singapore-based sustainability consultatory company. The acquisition is component of the New York Stock Exchange-listed worldwide realty services company’s development of its sustainability consultatory service in Asia Pacific.
Moray Armstrong, handling supervisor of CBRE Singapore, states the introduction of Paia’s functions will place CBRE at the leading edge of ESG advisory in Singapore and across Asia Pacific. “Our specialists are going to partner with customers on reporting, training, compliance, benchmarking, building, and executing ESG systems. CBRE will positively influence the built environment.”
In June, United Overseas Bank and Enterprise Singapore launched a sustainability consultatory program for SMEs, in collaboration with Paia Consulting, CDP, Convene ESG, M1, PwC Singapore and TÜV SÜD.
